Scientists Exploring the Arts is a free program open to college students (graduate and undergraduate) who are majoring in specific subject areas, including: food science and molecular gastronomy, nutrition, chemistry, chemical engineering, statistics, environmental science, food sensory evaluation, material science, business (finance, sales), marketing, and computer science. The program is sponsored by Ingredion, a leading global ingredients solutions provider specializing in nature-based sweeteners, starches, and nutrition ingredients. This unique partnership between State Theatre New Jersey and Ingredion celebrates and explores the essential elements shared by the performing arts and science and technology: creativity, innovation, problem solving, teamwork, and process.
