Milk and Cookies



MILK & COOKIES
is a lively, interactive, and FREE series featuring storytelling, music, puppetry, and more. Recommended for children ages 3-8 and their families, Milk & Cookies invites young people to discover the joy of watching, listening, and interacting with the arts. The 6 events (3 in the fall and 3 in the spring) are offered once a month, on select Saturdays at 10am and 12pm.  Free milk and cookies are distributed to children (while supplies last).
 
FREE PROGRAM
General Admission. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

To reserve your FREE tickets, click RESERVE TICKETS below, then proceed with your order.
You do not need a ticket for Milk & Cookies. (You will not receive tickets in the mail, and you do not need to print them out.) When you arrive at the theater, you will be asked to provide the name you used when you registered for the show. As long as you have signed up in advance, you will be admitted to the performance.

Singer and guitarist Spook Handy celebrates America’s folk music traditions, from Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger through today. Come sing and clap along to treasured songs—including lots of familiar favorites.

Beatles and Bubblegum
Saturday, November 8, 10am & 12pm

Kids and adults, get ready to rock! Starfish returns with “Beatles & Bubblegum,” featuring music of the Beatles and the “bubblegum” artists of the 60s & 70s such as the Monkees and the Archies. Everybody’s invited to sing, dance, and play air guitar along with the band!

How the Bear Got A Short Tail & Other Winter Tales
Saturday, December 6, 10am & 12pm

Travel around the world with storyteller LuAnn Adams as she shares frosty winter tales full of whimsy, wisdom, and wonder. You’ll meet a grumpy long-tailed bear in Norway, a pugnacious penguin at the South Pole, a headstrong hedgehog who does not want to hibernate—and more.
