Family DayPresidents Day Is Family Day!
Monday, February 21, 2011

The State Theatre's highly-anticipated Family Day festival returns on February 21. The annual Presidents Day event is a great place for kids and their families to spend the Presidents Day holiday, with performances, games, hands-on workshops, exhibits, and more, stretching across five busy venues. It's a jam-packed day of fun for the entire family.

Highlights of this year's Family Day include the return of Mermaid Theatre's delightful The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorites; free music, storytelling, and dance performances at Crossroads Theatre; and a special visit from the Philadelphia Zoo. Check the State Theatre website for a detailed Family Day schedule.

Help make Family Day a success by working as a volunteer. We need setup/cleanup crew, ushers, photographers/videographers, costumed characters, as well as face painters and balloon artists. (Don't worry, we'll show you how.) Volunteers must work a minimum of 3 hours.
