Co-founder of the Allman Brothers Band, Betts is the man behind the Band’s greatest musical triumphs—“Ramblin’ Man,” “Blue Sky,” “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” and the Grammy® Award-winning “Jessica.” Betts is one of the top 10 rock guitarists of all time, according to the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, and in September 2003, Rolling Stone magazine counted him among the “100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time.”
After splitting with the Allman Brothers Band in 2000, Dickey Betts began a solo career when he released the acclaimed Lets Get Together, which included the songs “Rave On,” “Tombstone Eyes,” “Dona Maria,” and the instrumental odyssey, “One Stop Be-Bop.”
