Fun Facts About Eileen Ivers

1. Ivers is the original music star of Riverdance.
2. She is a founding member of the musical group, Cherish the Ladies.
3. ZETA Music, the world's leading electric stringed instrument maker, has recently introduced the “Eileen Ivers Signature Series Violin.”
4. Eileen has won nine All-Ireland fiddle championships, but did you know that her 10th championship win was on tenor banjo?
5. Ivers recently performed around the U.S. in the show “Fiddlers Three,” sharing the stage with two of the world's most celebrated violinists, classical virtuoso Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and jazz great Regina Carter (Another 2009-10 State Theatre artist, performing here on 9/26!).
